Buying & selling

Buy

Paste a token address anywhere in the chat and Venus opens a token card: live price, market size, liquidity, and warnings if something looks dangerous. Tap an amount (0.1, 0.5, 1 SOL or a custom one) and the swap executes.

Sell

Tap Sell, pick the token, choose 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% or a custom share. Venus asks you to confirm, then sends the swap.

Your receipt

Every trade returns a receipt: what moved, what you received, and a View on Solscan link so you can verify it on the public blockchain. Sell receipts also show the minimum guaranteed — the least the swap was allowed to deliver under your slippage setting; if the price had moved further than that, the trade would have failed rather than sell cheaper.

Finding tokens

The 🔥 Trending section has three views:

🔥 Trending — the tokens the most real people are trading right now. Ranked by genuine buyers and sellers, with fake volume filtered out.
🚀 Top gainers — what climbed the most in the last 24 hours, only among tokens with real liquidity, so there is always a market to exit into.
🔍 Search — type a name or ticker like WIF and Venus finds it on Solana. Verified tokens with deep liquidity appear first, so name-copycats are easy to spot.

Every result opens the same token card — with the same data and the same warnings — before any money moves.

Smart Trade

A Smart Trade is a position that manages itself: you choose the token and the strategy, Venus executes it. It buys, then watches the market around the clock:

Take-profits — sells a slice at each target, so gains become real SOL in your wallet.
Dynamic stop-loss — starts below your entry and moves up every time a take-profit hits. After the first target, the trade can no longer lose money.
Trailing stop — after the last target, the rest rides the trend and sells only when the price falls back a set distance from its highest point.

Your live position always shows the full strategy and your money, clearly separated into what is already collected (safe in your wallet) and what is still in the trade:

Two rules to know. One Smart Trade runs at a time. And it manages your entire balance of that token — anything you bought normally is managed by the strategy too.

You stay in control: Stop pauses the automation (nothing is sold), Force Sell Now exits the whole position immediately, and when the trade ends — win or lose — you get a full closing summary: entry and exit prices, every take-profit, the net result, and your wallet balance after the sale.

A strategy is just four numbers: where the safety net starts, and the three profit targets. Pick one in the Trade Center — every Smart Trade uses your choice.

The stop-loss is dynamic in every strategy: each time a target hits, it moves above your entry price, converting paper gains into a guaranteed floor.

History & Positions

📊 Positions shows every token you hold with live value, the price you paid, and profit or loss — with one-tap sell.

🕘 History (in the Trade Center) lists your last trades, one line each: amount in SOL and USD at the moment of the trade, a 🧠 mark when it was part of a Smart Trade, and a link to the transaction on Solscan.

Fees

Venus charges 0.9% per swap, already included in every buy and sell — nothing is charged separately, ever. The only other costs are Solana's own network fees (fractions of a cent) and the priority fee you configure yourself.

Wallet & security

Your keys, exportable. Venus creates the wallet for you and stores its private key encrypted. You can export it at any moment and import it into Phantom or any Solana wallet — the wallet is yours, not ours.
Encrypted at rest. Private keys are never stored as plain text: they are protected with AES encryption with built-in tamper detection, restricted file access, and rotating backups against data loss.
Up to 3 wallets, one active at a time. Deleting or exporting always asks for confirmation.
Withdraw anytime. Send your SOL to any Solana address, with a confirmation step and a receipt.
Private by design. Venus only works in one-on-one chats. Your balances, positions and history are visible to you alone.

The three rules that beat every scam: Venus never messages first. Venus never asks for your keys. Venus never asks you to send funds anywhere to "verify" or "unlock" something. And the only official accounts are the bot @venus_smart_tradingbot and @VenusSolanaBot on X — anything else using the name is an impostor.

FAQ

A token's value shows "unavailable" — is my money gone?

No. It means the live price could not be fetched at that moment (usually a busy price service). Your tokens are untouched — tap Refresh and the value comes back.

What happens to my Smart Trade if the price service goes down?

Venus tells you clearly that monitoring is delayed, keeps your position untouched (it never sells blind), retries continuously, and resumes on its own — with a message — when data returns.

What happens if the bot restarts?

Nothing is lost. Positions, wallets, settings and running Smart Trades are saved continuously; a Smart Trade resumes monitoring automatically after any restart.

I hold a token that cannot be sold. Why?

Some tokens lose all their market liquidity ("rugged") — there is no route to sell them, on any platform. Use 🙈 Hide / show tokens to remove them from your lists, and 🧹 Clean up wallet to reclaim the small SOL deposits locked by empty token accounts.

Why do I see a small SOL deposit "locked" per token?

On Solana, every token you hold needs its own small account, which keeps about 0.002 SOL as a deposit while it exists. When you fully sell a token, 🧹 Clean up wallet closes the empty account and returns that SOL to you.

Is Venus financial advice?

No. Meme tokens are extremely risky and can go to zero. Venus executes your decisions and protects you from avoidable mistakes — it does not predict markets. Trade only what you can afford to lose.
